Here at the University of Virginia, 2025 has been a year of many changes. Some bad with the loss of our President Jim Ryan, others good with many new faculty, graduate students, and researchers. 

with all of the new energy, our department is bursting at the seams with new projects, connections, and things to do.

Its great when the department can take 15 min out of our busy days and come together and take a group photo! 

I count at least 14 faculty made it.
