I have been attending SSSA national meetings in 2012 and enjoyed being around awesome soil scientists, biogeochemists, and geochemists in addition to many other ag focused researchers. Giving talks and getting feedback from the audience has been the main important reward. This year I have been lucky to have been awarded the 2025 SA Wilde Early Career Achievement Award.
I have to thank Dr. Lucas Nave for the nomination and those who agreed on the vote.
Below are a few key slides from talk.
How amazing Dr. Wilde was on his scientific journey.

If we don’t prioritize empirical measurements, we will re-shape science into a data-starved upside system.
